The easiest way to check your results is on the NHS App: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/ 

The results of tests and scans arrive from the hospital and are checked by your doctor before they are given to you.

The receptionist will read out their comment to you but will not be able to interpret the results. If a doctor needs to see you, they will ask you to make an appointment. 

X-ray reports can take between 2-4 weeks. Blood tests usually take between 4-10 days.

Please help us by ringing on 01536 522633 for results after 11:00 am, when the telephone lines are less busy. If you need to speak to the doctor the receptionist will advise you of the best time to make contact.

We are not able to give test results to anyone other than the patient, unless we have written permission to do otherwise. For children under the age of 16 years, results will be given to a parent.

We expect that the patient will contact the Practice for the results of any tests or investigations. Only in exceptional circumstances will the Practice contact the patient.
