NHS APP

The best way to access your patient online account is the NHS App or the NHS account (for patients aged 13 and over). 

With it, you can request your prescriptions, complete Online Consultations, book certain appointments or view your record, including test results (the record access is only available for patients aged 16 and over).

ONLINE CONSULTATIONS

You can contact the surgery via Engage Consult, an online consultation system. It can be used for non-urgent appointment requests, medication queries and admin requests. The system is available during the practice's opening hours - please use the Submit a routine query option. Your query will be answered within 24 hours.

Ask the receptionist for a pre-booked appointment if you are able to wait or use the NHS111 online service to find out what to do next.

Appointments

We have limited the appointments you are able to book online because most require appropriate care navigation.

There may be a better suited clinician to assist with your condition and our receptionists have been trained to direct you as necessary.

You can still cancel any appointments online (see how to do that in your NHS App: https://youtu.be/_6uXNYy40B8?t=317). 

Please note at present online booking is only available for Cervical Cytology (Smear) with the nurses. 

Prescriptions

You can also request prescriptions online. The system will only allow you to request your medication 7 days before it is due.

Access to Medical Record/Test Results

Most our patients have access to their medical record automatically enabled. If you are unable to see it, please contact the practice.

Online Services for Children

We are now able to offer proxy access to parents/guardians of children (up to the child's 11th birthday). This access is granted only to parents/guardians with parental responsibility and will be granted/could be revoked at the practice's discretion. Any such decisions will be made on individual basis and always in the best interest of the child involved. Patients aged 13 and over can download the NHS App.
