Are you aware that from April, the NHS will no longer be able to prescribe medicines for minor ailments like:
- dandruff
- cold sores
- coughs
- colds
- hay fever
- mild dry skin
NHS England has recommended that medicines for minor ailments should no longer be routinely prescribed.
Please purchase these in future, with advice from a pharmacy if needed.
As of Wednesday 6th March 2019, Eskdaill Medical will no longer accept prescription requests from Pharmacies for the majority of patients under 80 years of age. Patients will need to order their repeat prescriptions directly with the Surgery.
